Description
These crackers are a "weak" category 3, but they are acceptable. They are not the best option, but they will work.
First, never eat more than 5. Never eat them alone. For goodness sake, never eat them with peanut butter. NEVER. Have brancrisp bread with peanut butter.
5 whole wheat crackers crackers with fat free cream cheese and sugar free jelly is acceptable as a snack.
5 whole wheat crackers are used in some Shibboleth approved recipes that have enough protein and fiber to slow down blood sugar elevation.
Ex. Tuna Patties
- 1 small can of Tuna (3.5 ounces I think)
- 1 Egg
- 5 Whole Wheat Ritz Crackers or TVP (ground)
- MCT Oil
Mix all together, make patties, and fry until brown in mct oil. The tuna neutralizes the impact of the crackers.
