Description

Hemp hearts are a category 6 and can be used in any combination where a category 6 is allowed.  If you are adding them to a category 1 or 7, it is best to use a smaller portion of meat and use only 1 tbls hemp hearts.  They are high in calories and fats but are a great addition in the right combination and portion. You can also add them to a category 2 salad to add protein. 

100% shelled hemp seeds have the most concentrated balance of proteins, essential fats, vitamins and enzymes combined with a relative absence of sugar, starches and saturated fats. This is considered a grain, but far from it with a nutritional punch. This is a wonderful source of complete proteins and healthy fats.

This is still a grain so it didn't score higher, but is still a great option.
