Please note that recipes calling for alot of Parmesan are probably not going to work out nutritionally. 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese is approximately 200 calories so be aware of this when using in recipes.  The serving size listed on the container is just 2 tsp, which will generally be about 20-25 calories depending on brand. You are only allowed up to 50 calories total in condiments per meal. Parmesan is best used as a condiment sprinkled lightly at the table as condiment.
