Fall Tailgate Chili
Ingredients
- 1 can black beans rinsed and drained
- 1 can dark red pinto beans rinsed and drained
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 1 lb. Laura's Lean Ground Beef (96% Fat Free)
- 1 tablespoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1-2 cups fat free chicken broth (to desired thickness)
- 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/8 to 1/2 teaspoon cayenne (to desired hotness)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons ground cumin
- 2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce (5 grams of sugar or less)
- 4 tablespoons chili powder
- Prepare Time: 15 min
- Cook Time: 45 min
Description
I basically took the mock Wendy's chili recipe and spiced it up a notch! Changed one can of beans to black beans.
